- transcripts generated from audio,

3. Mobile App Permissions
Our iOS application may request access to device features only as needed to provide core functionality.
Microphone
Used to record audio for transcription or related services requested by the user.
Files / Document Access
Used to upload, import, store, and access audio files, transcripts, and related documents within the application.
Notifications
Used to send service-related notifications such as processing updates, operational alerts, account notices, and other important messages.
You can manage app permissions at any time through your device settings. We do not access device resources beyond what is reasonably necessary to provide the Services.
4. Audio Data, Transcription, and AI-Assisted Processing
As part of the Services:
- users may record audio or upload audio files,
- uploaded or recorded audio may be processed to generate transcripts,
- transcripts and related content may be analyzed to provide summaries, insights, analytics, or other requested outputs.
If a user selects AI transcription, Datagain may use Deepgram to process raw audio or transcripts for that requested service. If transcription is performed manually rather than through AI transcription, Deepgram does not access the user’s audio or transcripts.
Audio data, transcripts, and derived outputs may be accessed by authorized personnel only where necessary for service delivery, support, security, abuse prevention, billing, legal compliance, or quality assurance.
Datagain does not use customer data to train generalized machine learning models.
We do not use customer audio or transcript data for purposes unrelated to providing, maintaining, securing, or supporting the requested Services, except as otherwise disclosed in this Privacy Policy or required by law.

We and our service providers may use cookies, SDKs, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies to:
